Shaker Sofa Table

This was a project I built for my sister in the Spring of 2013. It is based on the the very basic, and very classic Shaker style hall table. I adjusted the depth to work as a sofa table for my sister's new house. Made from cherry, with poplar as the secondary wood. It features two simple drawers with hand cut half-blind dovetails, and continuous grain across the front. Finished with Danish oil, amber shellac, and wax.
